Company The mercantile entity Vinumar, S.A. was founded in 1944 in Tomelloso (Ciudad Real), dedicated since its creation to the distillation of wine spirits, the elaboration of wines and musts and the extraction of grape seeds for oil production. In 1957, Vinumar extended its wine and alcohol distillation activities to Villarrobledo. In 1964, this family business created a new entity, Avialsa, located in Villarrobledo. The two companies operated in parallel for many years, one in Tomelloso and the other in Villarrobledo, two first-order wine production centres in the heart of La Mancha. They will represent the embryo of what is today the “Vinumar Group”, made up of several structures: – Its two cellars, one in Tomelloso and the other in Villarrobledo, produce quality musts and young wines. The know-how acquired from generation to generation and the technical advances offered by modernity make the “Vinumar Group” a reference point in the production of musts and bulk wines, both nationally and internationally. -The distillery, in which alcohols, spirits and distillates of vinic origin are produced for the industrial sector (pharmaceuticals, biofuels, etc.) as well as for the food sector. The extraction of calcium tartrate, colouring matters (grape skin extracts)…, are activities that have been added to our history, responding to market requirements as well as to the optimisation of the raw materials from which all our products are made. – The transport agency offers an efficient service for the circulation of liquid foods at national and international level. A large fleet of tankers allows the organisation of full and split loads of musts, wines and alcohols on national and European territory, as well as the loading of bulk liquid foodstuffs vessels, mainly musts and wines.
