Aluminium billet is being manufactured by continuous molten casting of aluminum alloys. It is a semi-finished product in the form of log that can be 6 meters long and 114,127,140,152,178,203mm in diameter. Manufacturing processes are Melting, Alloying, Degassing, Filtration, Casting, Cut to Length, Homogenization, Cooling and Packaging as in this order. Additionally, aluminum profiles are being produced by pushing the heated billet through a "profile die" which should have been designed according to the required profile shape. World-wide, this process is called as extrusion.
