Smart Energy is a renewable energy production, investment, consulting and engineering company operating in Southeast Europe. The company, which was established in Bulgaria in September 2009, started its operations in 2010 by taking the necessary licenses for the solar power plant installation in a short time. As of January 2011, Smart Energy has stepped up its first solar power plant with a 1.0 MWp capacity in Rakovskovo, and built its first GES in Giurgiu in January 2012, expanding its scope in Romania. After being accepted to ITU Energy Technical Park company have started their SEG operations in Turkey as the first solar energy plant company in Turkey in October 2012. On June 2012, a total of 30 MW capacity, 12 GES completed and connected to the Bulgaria network system. As the next step, the Greek office was opened in Thessaloniki in July and then Romania in Bucharest in August. They successfully carried out 57 small solar power plants with a total capacity of 5.6 MWp and connected them to the grid system. By 2014, the company started operations for first two GES and the construction was completed in January 2015. Thus, for the first time a CIS glass-glass panel project approved with a capacity of 15 MW in Turkey. In 2016, projects with the total size of more than 300 MW designed and approved by TEDAS. Turkey’s module factory planned and strategic partner SUMEC Group was chosen. The world’s second biggest dual glass module rooftop was constructed (10MW) in 2017. More than 36MW plants were constructed. 420 MW module (new generation modules including PERC, Bi-facial, half-cut cell) factory started production in August 2017. When it comes to 2018, the solar panel production capacity has been increased to 800 MW and its activities are continuing rapidly. In addition to serving as an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) firm for a long time, the company also makes its own investments, allowing investors to experience first hand the whole process of the beginning. Smart Energy offers a high quality, reliable service thanks to its strong expertise, while using its own experience to understand better customers’ needs and resolve problems. Smart Energy, which has a highly motivated and experienced team, designed the optimum efficient system that does not miss any detail during system design and has spent these systems using TIER 1 material from metal construction, solar panel, inverter to 20% good production figures have been reached. At the same time, the success, quality and service understanding of the rapidly growing and evolving Smart Energy has been proven by the TUV SUD certificate, which has been continuously renewed for the last three years, and the ISO 9001: 2008 certificate from Bureau Veritas.
