Laborant SI-NAT Medium is used for direct RNA extraction from clinical/ non-clinical specimens in one single step. Inside the SI-NAT collection tube, RNA extraction simultaneously takes place. Therefore, no additional isolation is required PCR testing is performed by the sample that is taken directly from SI-NAT
Laborant’s Real-time PCR based kit used for detecting the epidemic virus SARS-CoV-2 and a convenient one-step formulation, for both cDNA synthesis and PCR amplification in a single tube using gene-specific primers from either total RNA or mRNA. The advantages of one-step real-time RT-PCR is that it is quicker to set up and involves less handling of samples, thereby reducing pipetting errors, contamination and other sources of error. The kit allows to achieve RT-qPCR result in around 34 minutes and may vary according to the Ramp Rate of the device.
