Being the Turkish Affiliate of MMK Group, MMK Metalurji was founded with an investment of 2.3 Billion Dollars and it is active in its facilities located in Hatay-Dortyol and Kocaeli-Dilovasi. Having a leading position in the Russian Steel Industry and being among the largest steel manufacturers in the world, MMK Group PJSC decided to make an investment in Turkey in 2007 due to its faith in Turkey"s future. In March 2010, the first plant was commissioned and the production lines were put into operation in March 2011. The investment project was implemented with 100% share ownership and it has been one of the largest industrial corporations built from scratch completely by the private sector in Turkey.
